Abore Station – Premium Sidama Coffee from Ethiopia
Abore Station is located in Ethiopia’s renowned Sidama region, within the Bona Zuria District (one of the 30 districts known for exceptional coffee production). Bombe is the name of the coffee lots produced here. The station is named after a bridge built in 1997 and dedicated to a local chief.
Managed by Asefa Dukamo Korma, the site sits at an elevation of 1,920–2,020 meters, providing ideal conditions for growing high-quality specialty coffee. Around 1,022 smallholder farmers deliver their coffee cherries to this station.
Natural Process – Intense and Fruity Sidama Coffee
The Natural lots are placed immediately on 25-meter raised drying beds upon arrival. Depending on the weather, the drying process takes 16 to 25 days, during which the cherries are turned frequently for even drying. This method produces a rich, fruity, and complex flavor profile, characteristic of high-end Natural Ethiopian coffee.
